Project #3: Book Cover

Project 3 is a book cover. My books is: Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. The book is about a journalist who goes on a trip to Las Vegas with his attorney to cover the Mint 400 race and some type of federal gun convention. Parts of this story are true. They are chasing the American Dream... They abandon their work for the use of drugs, trashing hotel rooms, hallucinogenic trips from cocaine, mescalin, alcohol, LSD, and pot included animals with human characteristics and gives the viewer confusion about what is reality and fiction. I would like to incorporate the highway and a conglomeration of line drawings in my cover.
The book was written by Hunter S. Thompson and the book illustration was done by Ralph Steadman. Steadman's (the skull and American flag) book cover and another I found are below...We cannot use images from magazines on this one, so it is going to be a real challenge for me to create something original.
